The owner, Braden Stevenson was a keen cyclist and when visiting a sleepy fishing village in the 80’s decided to open a bike shop and start hiring bikes in 1989.

The newly finished Sheraton Mirage Resort was making an impact on the town and tourism was booming. The shop was soon very popular and he would be building bikes well into the wee hours of the morning ready for the next days hire.

Over the years we have hired bikes to thousands of people and also some famous ones, Sean Penn, Cher, Axle Rose and Elle McPherson to name a few, we are also very fortunate to have return customers for many years who love cycling around Port Douglas.

Our large fleet of bikes and the ever increasing demand for high performance bikes as well as the popularity of our delivery service forced us to move premises in 2001 to our latest location in Warner St.

We have a bigger floor space and workshop area which boasts 3 mechanics, Sales team and 2 delivery vehicles, we even have our own team of downhill riders, check out the trophy cabinet and rider profiles next time you’re in the shop.

Our experienced and long serving staff have more than 20years local knowledge to share, so pop in and have a chat and a laugh and hire a bike.
